Memetchi

We finally had a very belated 5 Mars group hang last night, except without Thoina and Mrina, and including our 5 Jupiter person, Nigel 😛 Sean, Freddie, Ching, Asyraf, Nigel, Gamms and I met up in La Bodega yesterday for drinks and chit-chat, FINALLY, after days of FFKing each other. After that, Sean, Freddie, Ching and I went to A&W Petaling Jaya to eat cause we’re pigs like that. We decided to go to Lionel‘s (who we sent off at KL Sentral yesterday, boo hoo! He’s all the way back in Indonesia now, sigh) apartment to watch 200 Pound Beauty which everyone loved and cried to (yes, 2 guys and 2 girls, and both guys and a girl end up crying) except for me. I don’t know why, I just find her damn annoying. Like, shut up and stop whining for heaven’s sake. You’re already gorgeous, so just … stop whining! :O
Ching and Freddie argued in the car all the way to Mont Kiara from A&W, and then all the way through the movie as well. It started out with them “debating” about equal rights first, and then it moved on to whatever Ching said, Freddie would disagree. Then it went on to how Freddie said Ching called him a jerk, but Ching denies it and says that if she were to call Freddie anything, it would be an ass.

Was dead tired after all that, so I came home and slept. Woke up at 1PM after 10 hours of glorious, restful sleep. Aaahh 🙂 I think I’m starting to get lazy and pig-like because I’m on such a long holiday. I’ve been on holiday since April, and I only start school in July 😀 So nice, but it tends to get boring a lot. Meh.

My tamagotchi grew to a Memetchi 😀 It’s so cute!

Almost Died Moment #45362

Last night Sean and I made plans with Freddie and Daniel to watch Shrek 3 — and we almost didn’t make it AFTER he bought the tickets! 😦 What happened was that we were at home with my sister, and my parents said that they’ll be back by 11.30PM, except it was already 11.45PM and they weren’t home yet (they said one more hour!) … and the movie was starting at 12.15AM! :O We were slowly sinking into a depressed funk, when at 12.15AM my parents called to say that they were on the way home, so we dashed out of the house, jumped into the car and sped at 140km/h all the way to One Utama. I think I almost died a lot of times during that journey. We got there at exactly 12.20AM. A normal fifteen minute journey, not including parking time. Madness. MADNESS.

We made it in time for the movie, and we even got to watch the awesome Digi “Silent Your Handphone” ad that we both like so much 🙂 You know, the one where the dude’s talking on his handphone, and the yellow dude’s crying and trying to shush him. And then the dude goes “Don’t worry lah, I tai koh mah!”, hahaha. Yes, we’re easily amused.

Anyway, the movie was alright. I liked the previous one more, but it wasn’t too bad, I suppose. A tiny bit of a disappointment. I loved that we got to see more of the donkey-dragons though, they’re super mega fantastically awesome! 🙂 Justin Timberlake‘s character was boring, boring, boring, and Donkey and Puss In Boots were the stars of the show for me. Everything else was just pretty, meh. OH YES, and the Princesses! I love the princesses, they were awesome. “Oh Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your golden hair extensions” 😛

Today I spent half my day traipsing around shopping malls looking for a basketball because Sean has suddenly decided (after watching season after season of One Tree Hill) that he wants to start playing basketball again, and that he wants to play everyday when we get back to Melbourne. Nevermind the fact that it’s currently 3 degrees in Melbourne, and that his girlfriend is physically handicapped due to a life-threatening illness 2 months ago. On the bright side, I found a very pretty (and big) bag in MNG that I really like. It’s also very useful cause it’s big, and I can throw my laptop in along with my uni books.

Speaking of, I’m feeling much better though. We went bowling today (yes, just the two of us, completely random) and it didn’t hurt! The other time, all I did was play one game of pool and it started hurting like a bitch. I still can’t go back to yoga, pilates or go to the gym yet (I tried lifting 4.6kg today, and it hurt the moment I picked it up!) though. I’m gonna disobey doctor’s orders and start playing tennis this week. Don’t care, I CANNOT STAND IT, lack of exercise and too much Fruit Fiesta from Baskin Robbins, I tell you.

Sigh.

At World’s End

Just came back from watching Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End at Cineleisure with Sean! 🙂 It was soooo long — 3 hours I think? Wheeee! I think it was quite awesome, although the second one was definitely funnier, but this one really sorta talked about a lot of piratey things and is quite cool in that way, I suppose. It reveals a lot, lah. Something like that. Stay in the cinema until after the credits because there’s a really cool clip at the end. I’m serious. It’s not one of those random clips like the one in the last movie. It’s meaningful. Thank goodness we didn’t leave the cinema yet! 😛

Okay, nothing else for me to say. GO WATCH AT WORLD’S END NOW.

Kthnxbye!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Okay, proper blog entry now.

Two nights ago, Sean and I went to Terminal 3, Subang Airport to eat the most awesome orgasmic crabs I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. It was 9PM, and I was craving them, heh heh. We got there a full hour later because we ended up getting lost for a bit, but all’s well, and the kitchen only closes at 11PM so hoooray! 😀 We ate like piggies, one huge plate of salted egg crabs, some sort of herbal chicken thingy, and veggies! Oink, oink. Every crab lover needs to go there at least once in their life, just to try their salted egg crabs. It’s awesome on so many different levels of awesomeness. REALLY.

We watched Mr. Bean’s Holiday a couple of days ago too, and it was mildly entertaining, I suppose. I think the scenes when he was dancing to “beg” for money were worth sitting in the cramped up cinema for hours. I’m never watching a movie anywhere else other than Cineleisure again, I tell you. I can’t wait for Pirates of the Caribbean to be released! Only 9 more days! *hyperventilates*

Happy Mother’s Day! 🙂

Leaving Tonight

I’m so bored.

Like totally, utterly, completely bored. As in so bored that I have resorted to singing Lovin’ You in a horrible, high-pitch parody version, causing my Mom to pop her head in my room and casually mention that she thinks I’ve gone insane.

Have you guys seen pictures of the Shrek babies? They’re so adorable!

I’m currently layaning Ne-Yo ft. Jennifer Hudson – Leaving Tonight because the lyrics are damn power man. I first heard it in Sean’s car because he just bought the Ne-Yo CD and holy crap, I refused to leave the car until the song ended, so we had to sit outside his house in his car for a little while 😀 On a completely random note, Sean has a HUGE rottweiler. When I say HUGE, I mean HUGE. Anyway, guess what his name is.

Baby.

I kid you not! 😀

Two hundred and sixteen, that’s how many times I went back and forth about it in my mind. Could she, could she really be who he’s tellin me that she is? There’s somethin about it that don’t feel right. Saturday she called here 26 times, you kept tellin’ me not to worry, wanna believe that you tellin the truth, but if you are lying then leave …

Photo Post!

This is gonna be a photo post because I haven’t posted photos in ages now, and my blog looks all boring and shit with all the words. Meh! But before that, Sean and I went to watch Spider-man 3 today and it was okaylah, I didn’t LOVE it, but I didn’t HATE it, and I got to see the hotness that is James Franco (Harry Osborn) so whatevs, it was all goooood 🙂

Sean and I decided to be freaks in the car yesterday (and today!) Yesterday Sean had a 10 minute laughing fit in the car in front of Muzium Negara because I was naming all the characters in Pirates of the Caribbean with a stereotypical China man accent. Oh, what we resort to when we get stuck in half-an-hour traffic jams! x_x

I stole the below two photos from Zehan’s blog. They were taken at Maison last week! 🙂

Party Party

Maison was fun stuff as always 🙂 🙂 It was even better because I had Zehan, Mar, AND there that night too! It’s always either just Mrina, or just Zehan and Mar, so it was awesome that all three of them were there at once, hee hee. Went to Devi’s after that as usual to eat, and then I took Sean’s car home, and spent the rest of the night chit-chatting with Mrina in bed. I can’t really remember what we did the next day, meh, but I do remember going to Laundry with Soung Ern, Shaun, Kay, Freddie, and Lionel, and then moving on to Decanter after that .. Saturday night I think? Meh! The days are just clashing together already, pah.

Lately so far Sean and I have watched Yesterday Once More (damn sad, confirm cry) and 23 which was meh, okay. I didn’t really like it that much though it was quite interesting, I suppose!

Photos from Maison and stuff later cause they’re with Ze, and I’m too lazy to upload the ones I have 😛

So What-everrrr

My current ringtone is Avril Lavigne – Girlfriend because I’m ashamed to say that I find the song incredibly catchy, and that I detest Avril Lavigne but for this song … I’ll make an exception 🙂 Mrina cringes everytime my phone rings (which isn’t a lot, come to think of it …) and in Melbourne, Aaron D (I’m renaming him because it sounds cooler than just Aaron, hahaha) cringes everytime Sean calls me because my special tone for him is Beyonce – Irreplaceable. Hee hee! Mrina‘s ringtone is awesome because it’s Johnny Cash – Ring Of Fire, one of the best songs EVER. I haven’t yet deciphered what Sean‘s main ringtone is supposed to be, but normally it’s either Muse – Starlight or Justin Timberlake – My Love, and for his other phone, it’s normally My Chemical Romance – Famous Last Words. I’m not too sure what Zehan‘s ringtone is either, but I know it’s Jet – Are You Gonna Be My Girl? when her Mom calls her, and sometimes it’s Justin Timberlake – My Love as well. I haven’t been around Ching or Jun Wei recently, but when I left, both of them were using Mariah Carey which is of course, the most awesome thing ever. Yes, in case you couldn’t tell, I like listening to ringtones, hee hee.

It was Thoina‘s birthday two days ago so The 5Mars Gang (minus Ching, Kin, and Iylia) met up for movie night at my house. We played poker most of the time though, and since no one had money, we played with roasted nuts. So awesome. I ended up losing all my money first, and had to borrow nuts off from Sean 😦 So sad. Apparently I quite suck at poker. Hmph. Poker is the new tai dee, okay!

Sean, Lionel and I watched Stranger Than Fiction yesterday, and it was quite okay, but I fell asleep halfway through the movie so I wouldn’t know much, heh. Interesting plot, cool actors, blah blah blah. I don’t know if I mentioned but I’ve been taking Mandarin tuition for one and a half hours EVERYDAY. And I’m supposed to keep on with that until I leave for Melbourne again, poop!

Speaking of Melbourne, can I just say that I am never using my debit card again. I always knew that you know, the statement will print what you’ve spent on, but HELLO, I didn’t expect my Mom to ask me for the statement and right on there in big, bold letters has the exact amount I spend EVERYWHERE. I see GUCCI and BETTINA LIANO on there most prominently, with the numbers in the hundreds. Holy shit. I’m just going to be smart and pay in cash from now on, thank you very much! :O

Dum Dee Dum

Sean and I went to The Curve today because I had to redeem and renew and use up this Metrojaya voucher thing I have, but there’s nothing there so I’m gonna use it in the Midvalley Metrojaya instead since they have LeSportsac there 😀 Bumped into Evie there and she informed me that it was Min Huei‘s birthday, so I quickly called him to wish him! :X I’m terrible at remembering birthdays. Note to self: Ching’s birthday is tomorrow. Forgetting it would lead to dire consequences!

Had ice cream, and wedges, and kaya balls (such pigs, I tell you :P) and I fell in love with this beautiful miniature schnauzer puppy in Pet Safari. She was so sweet, and so adorable, and I wanted to take her home so badly … except home is kinda 8 hours away by plane. Hmph. I so should stay away from pet shops in Melbourne because I’d come home with 6 puppies and 3 kittens in tow, and Sean will kick me out and never speak to me again :X

Went aaaalllll the waaaaayyyy to visit Mrina for a bit, before heading back for dinner at Bangsar. I didn’t know there’s a new boutique there called Oopsie Daisie — so cute! 😀 I bought a dress/top there, and the prices are actually really reasonable compared to the other boutiques in Bangsar (*cough cough* Baci *cough cough*) They only opened a month ago. Go check them out — the same row as Gossips, right on top of Ronnie Q’s.

We watched Scoop last night which I thought was quite good. Scarlett Johansson annoys me, but Woody Allen is fantastic! Sean bought a whole pile of DVDs last night, so we’re slowly going through them, and not to forget we have another huge pile back in Melbourne to go through too. I don’t see what all the fuss is about 300 though. It’s not my type of flick :S

I’m super addicted to Australia’s Next Top Model ever since I watched the first episode in the hospital. I find it much better than the American one, meh!

The Sinking of Japan

I’m currently blogging from work now. Came in early because I’ve got a shitload of things to do. Need to confirm location for photoshoot, call back the brands, blah blah blah. Meh! But work’s fun though. I like it — when I have things to do, that is. Other than that, I just sit around and do nothing … yeah it gets boring sometimes. Pfft. Like yesterday, I had nothing to do. I read The Star, NST, Malay Mail, and about six issues of Seventeen. I also managed to check my horoscope on numerous websites online.

Last night I went to watch The Sinking of Japan with Marcus, Wy Keith, and Jun Wei. Surprisingly, it was quite a good movie. Quite emo at some parts, with Japanese music playing and two people running towards each other in slow motion and all that, but overall, quite good. Damn sad though. Seriously, it’s quite depressing. Went over to Ching Yi’s house after that and watched The Last Kiss which was almost equally as depressing.

Back to work 🙂
